when the student is ready...

This is a sharing on the challenging and tumultuous journey that I have gone through with Yigal, my mentor, in the past two years. I met him at the exact time, in the exact place. When the student is ready, the teacher arrives. I have been searching for a path that leads me to happiness for 3 years. I lived in a monastery for 6 months, lived in various places in the world where I was exposed to other ways to live, in order to find my way. On this journey I encountered even more confusion, doubts, and fear. It seemed that any way was not my way. I met Yigal at that turning point. I met him at a cafe. Already in the first conversation with him, when our eyes met, I knew that this was my guide. There was something in him that I could not ignore or remain indifferent to. There's no turning back

There's no turning back. From the moment you take the big leap, there's no turning back. For a long time we were afraid of taking this leap. Where will this lead? What will be the consequences of this? How will this affect us? Fear of the unknown future, an imaginary loss, an unattainable gain. Fear of dealing. It is a momentary voice that knows what is right for it right now, and it goes with it 100 percent. Surrender, what is it? The ability to be in the moment, the ability to submit to change, to feeling, to experience, to momentary deci...

Om Ma Ya center for awareness

Om Ma Ya's purpose is to support all beings to find within themselves the support they seek for change. Om Ma Ya inspires and awakens within us the  Urge to question what we think, to realize what we want, to develop the tools for change, and to take the first steps. Om Ma Ya offers a space of encouragement. A space that allows us to be and express ourselves as we truly are. A space that reminds us to live according to what is in the present reality. Om Ma Ya's intention is to show us a way that will support us to be vital, clear, appreciative and content human beings. At the center we explore our ways of thinking and see how they affect our feelings, behaviour and actions. We inquire into the beliefs that limit us from living a peaceful and present life.   We work on increasing our body awareness, through daily walks in nature, conscious breathing and movement, meditation and more. I...
