When is a good time for change?

When is a good time for change?
Is there any time other than Now?
Yet, it seems to us that we have all the time in the world to change.
We tell ourselves that now is not a good time,
That first we need to finish this thing and then we will make this change.
That we don't have a choice right now, but later on it will happen.
We are simply not being honest with ourselves.
Let's start by admitting that first of all,
we are afraid of change, because it is unknown.
What will happen? How will it affect us?
Second, let's admit that we are lazy, and we don't want to deal with the challenges of the change.
After these two things are out of the way,
Now we can observe and inquire into the matter.
Does it support us, to be limited to our own ideas?
Do we want to live a life of limitation?
And if not, what is the way to change?

There's no turning back

There's no turning back. From the moment you take the big leap, there's no turning back. For a long time we were afraid of taking this leap. Where will this lead? What will be the consequences of this? How will this affect us? Fear of the unknown future, an imaginary loss, an unattainable gain. Fear of dealing. And yet, something in us continues to push us to take this leap. try. dare. Take the chance. We have a kind of gut feeling, an inner voice, heart calling, whatever you choose to call it, that pulls us, that leads us. This is not the voice of logic. It's not a voice that knows what it's going to get, and where it's heading. This is not a voice which is based on past calculations, and implications for the future. It is a momentary voice that knows what is right for it right now, and it goes with it 100 percent. Surrender, what is it? The ability to be in the moment, the ability to submit to change, to feeling, to experience, to momentary deci...

listening - what is that?

listening.... Have you ever noticed how challenging it is to listen? To truly listen. Listening without interrupting the other person, disturbing, revolting, reacting, attacking, justifying, being right, or assuming. Listening without projecting what the other person meant, and how it's going to affect me. Listening without understanding. Listening with innocence, in presence. Listening is when I and the other person disappear and there is only presence. There is no separation, because there are no two - there is only one. There's only me. Without noticing, I separated myself from the other. I did not see that I was the one who had projected the other, who had created the other, inside of me. The other was simply my projection, my reflection. me. We put ideas on each other without seeing who the source of all these ideas is. We are too busy pointing out, blaming, comparing, instead of seeing that everything is within us. Listening is the taking of responsibility, that all ...

when the student is ready...

This is a sharing on the challenging and tumultuous journey that I have gone through with Yigal, my mentor, in the past two years. I met him at the exact time, in the exact place. When the student is ready, the teacher arrives. I have been searching for a path that leads me to happiness for 3 years. During the journey I practiced and learned all kinds of theories, philosophies and exercises that would take me to happiness. I lived in a monastery for 6 months, lived in various places in the world where I was exposed to other ways to live, in order to find my way. On this journey I encountered even more confusion, doubts, and fear. It seemed that any way was not my way. I met Yigal at that turning point. I met him at a cafe. Already in the first conversation with him, when our eyes met, I knew that this was my guide. There was something in him that I could not ignore or remain indifferent to. Yigal shared with me the whole essence of life in this conversation, ...
